Mai provides a robust voice solution to augment the drive-thru experience. Mai’s patent-pending drive-thru technology enables operators to leverage existing resources, such as human capital or technology assets to further drive the most important components of a qsr's profitability. Mai is designed to be ‘ kaizen’ (or forever learning), utilizing machine learning to keep itself up to date on menu items, and ordering preferences (I e formal name vs. value item) and will help operators better understand the customer experience.

Who is MAI?

Meet "Mai", Encounter AI's ordering assistant. Mai is one of the world's most advanced artificial intelligence assistants built specifically for restaurants and retail to improve accuracy, service, and speed. She responds to your customers instantly via drive-thru, kiosk, or at-table tablets and allows your staff to focus on higher-value tasks.

CX-To-End User

Mai customer service is handled by our conversational AI. Mai is a cloud-based solution, therefore it has flexible deployment options. Mai performs real-time translation of the customer’s interactions to create an engaging experience, ultimately producing an accurate order. In the event a customer has to engage a human, Mai will do a seamless transfer.

Point-of-Sale
Integration

The Mai platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with any modern cloud POS vendor. Mai’s pos specialist will work with the franchise/store and their pos vendor of choice to gain authorization and receive access tokens for the pos merchant account. Mai will use these tokens to access the account and create “virtual registers” for each store location. Once created and activated, all order transactions handled by Mai will be processed through these virtual registers. When a customer engages Mai’s conversational AI via the drive-thru or touchscreen terminal, the AI will take the customer’s order and, using the customer’s credit card as payment, submit it through the virtual register on behalf of the customer. The franchise’s POS system handles the calculation and charging of the credit card as usual, keeping the transaction secure and within PCI compliance.
